Outside of apps, most of us engage with the internet using a browser. Typically we use Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft’s Edge as these are the most well known browsers and they’re supported by big, deep-pocketed companies. Well, I want to introduce you to the Arc browser.

Why did I switch?

I’m a “tab head,” lol. What I mean is that (when I used Chrome) I would have dozens of tabs open at any given time. This caused 2 very annoying problems for me. First, it was a nightmare trying to find older tabs that I had left open in this mess. I even used tab groups and other “best practices” to organize my tabs but they never really stuck with me.

Layout is everything!

It's not that Arc has way more features than your typical browser, it's just that everything is laid our more thoughtfully. The conventions make more sense and the browser actually become MORE useful as you add more pages/content.

Below are some of my favorite features.

Killer Features

  • Spaces: Easily organize your pages into grouped space based on their intent. You've got to see it to understand. I have 3 spaces.
  • Favorites: Add up to 12 favorites to your sidebar for easy access to your most visited sites.
  • Easy Screenshots: I take a lot of screenshots and Arc has a simple yet pwoerful way to quicly grab the shots you need and save or share them.
  • Bookmark Arrangement: Create collapsable folders to better organize your pages.

Nice Features

  • Notes: Quickly write down your thoughts without opening another app.
  • Easel: Create infinite "whiteboards" to capture your thoughts while browsing.
  • Cloud Sync: Access your files from anywhere with Arc Browser's seamless cloud sync feature. It's like your files are on a world tour, but they always come back home.
  • Intuitive Interface: The Arc Browser is designed with user-friendliness in mind, so you can start using it right away. It's like the cool aunt who always knows what's up.
